Additional Props: 2 Foam Boppers, Boundary Cones
Make a 20 foot square playing area with the Boundary Cones. Players must stay within the playing area. Have one player volunteer to be the Snowman. The Snowman stands in the middle of the playing area, is given the Foam Bopper and is blindfolded. The Snowman starts the action by saying, “Snowman, Snowman, all in white, blinding everyone in sight”. As the Snowman says this chant everyone else can run around in the playing area. When the chant is over everyone must freeze where they are. The Snowman attempts to tag someone with the bopper. Players can avoid being tagged by squatting down but cannot move from their place. Eventually, the Snowman tags a player. The tagged player then becomes part of the Snowman. newly tagged player links arms with the Snowman, is blindfolded, and is given the additional bopper. So now the Snowman is two players wide with boppers at each end. The game continues with the Snowman repeating the chant. Another player is tagged and the Snowman grows. We play the game until all players have been assimilated by the Snowman. Then we play again!
