Additional Props: Long Rope and/or Short Ropes
Divide your participants into two groups, the flamingos and the hunters. The hunters stand behind a boundary line, 15 feet from flamingos. Or flamingos could stand inside giant rope circle made by the long rope. Hunters get points by bowling the Kickball at the flamingos who stand on one foot (and therefore one leg) only and hop around trying to avoid the ball. Each hunter bowls five times. If a flamingo is hit or touches two feet on the ground or leans on anything, that is a point for the hunters. Once all the hunters have bowled five times, the teams switch.
Variations: You could do this game by elimination and when one of the flamingos is hit, they trade places with the person that hit them. Or you could see who could stay in the middle the longest without being hit by the ball, with each avoided ball counting as a point for that player. Or you could have each half of the inning timed (let’s say for three minutes) and then have the group of hunters count up the number of flamingos they hit and that would be their score for the inning. And then, after the three minutes is up, the teams would switch places.
