Additional Props: Boundary Cones

Divide your group into two teams and place each team on opposite ends of the playing field. The field is about 20 yards long and as wide as the number of players on a team with arms outstretched. On each end is a goal line made by the boundary cones. No jumping is allowed.

The object is for Team 1 to throw the flying disc where it lands on the ground past Team 2’s goal line. And then it is Team 2’s turn to throw at Team 1’s goal line. The teams stand on their own goal line. The disc can roll or go in the air but cannot be thrown over the other team’s outstretched arms. The teams can do whatever it takes to block the disc from making it into their goal, including catching it. We score 500 points for each successful goal line score.

Variation: You could allow overhead throws and allow the other team to catch it deep beyond the goal line as long as it does not hit the ground. Or you could let the group decide any other rules variations that make it more interesting, like allowing out of bounds throws that end up rolling or flying back behind the other team’s goal line.

All players have to remain very alert during this game as the discs will be flying towards them at fast speeds. If you have a group that has trouble with this rule, do not play this game.
